Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of BizFig websites and services operated by BizFig AS (“BizFig”, “we”, “us”), including beta.bizfig.com. By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
BizFig is a professional community platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and creators. Features may include member profiles, Connect directory, ventures, events, resources, and related tools. Beta features may change, pause, or be removed without notice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
- Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.
3. Community standards
Trust
Honest professional disclosures.
Discretion
Respect private conversations and deal sensitivity.
Mutual value
Give as well as take.
You agree not to spam, harass, scrape, impersonate others, upload unlawful content, or misuse the platform for cold-blast outreach that violates community norms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, ventures, events, resources). You grant BizFig a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. You confirm you have the rights to share what you post.
5. No investment or employment advice
BizFig facilitates introductions and information sharing. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, placement agent, or employment agency. Any investments, hires, or partnerships are solely between users. You are responsible for your own due diligence and compliance with applicable laws.
6. Intellectual property
BizFig branding, software, and site design are owned by BizFig AS or its licensors. You may not copy or reverse engineer the platform except as allowed by law.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” especially during beta. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that member information is complete or accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BizFig AS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service or interactions with other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under Norwegian law.
9. Termination
You may stop using BizFig at any time and request account deletion via privacy@bizfig.com or in-product tools where available. Provisions that should survive (IP, liability, dispute terms) continue after termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Norway have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
